Volunteers needed to help pre-pack boxes of food, stock shelves, receive deliveries, sort donations, greet customers and more. We encourage a vibrant, diverse mix of volunteers – from college students to retirees – there is a job for everyone! Help us provide a 5-day supply of emergency food to up to 80 of your Central, Ohio neighbors per day.
Our pantry is open Monday – Friday from 10 am – 1 pm. Can’t work the whole shift, but still want to help out for a little while? No problem! Feel free to sign up for a shift, then send an email to Lindsay Barber at lbarber@neighborhoodservicesinc.org to let us know that you will be arriving late or leaving early. Any time you have to spare is helpful!

*Covid Policy: All paid NSI Staff Members are required to be vaccinated. All Staff and Volunteers must wear a mask during their shift. Hand sanitizer, disposable gloves and face masks and forehead thermometers available for use onsite. All pantry shoppers are being served outdoors only, either carside or in an outdoor, walk up area. Social distancing enforced, and the number of staff/volunteers inside the building is being monitored. If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please stay home. Just shoot us a quick email letting us know. We will catch you next time!
*Parking: We are located in a shopping plaza between Suzie Cue's Pool Hall and King's Pizza. Parking is ample in the front parking lot, off 18th Ave. When you arrive for the first time, ask for Christopher who will get you oriented.
*Volunteers over 18 will need to sign a waiver on their first shift. Volunteers ages 16-17 will need to have a parent or guardian sign for them. Volunteers 15 and under can volunteer if accompanied by a parent, guardian, or school staff member during their shift, and will need a parent or guardian's signature on a waiver.
