In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Alvis is excited to host a volunteer project that will bring hope to individuals and families who have histories of justice involvement, behavioral healthcare concerns, barriers to employment, and/or developmental disabilities.
In an effort to highlight the significant themes related to this holiday and carry them into our facilities to instill some hope for our clients, we invite you to craft hand banners that will be hung up onto the walls of the residences.

To add to the meaning of this project for our clients, consider writing or typing a quote pertaining to racial justice, equality, freedom, or hope. Another idea is to begin with the phrase “I have a dream…” and finish with your vision for equality, unity, and acceptance.
