United Way of Central Ohio has focused our efforts on COVID-19 relief through our COVID-19 Community Response Fund since March. Through this fund, United Way quickly raised and distributed nearly $2M dollars to local nonprofits who focused on providing relief to people disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
As this crisis continues, United Way will focus on providing support for both COVID-19 short-term relief and the long-term recovery of our community. For the 2020 campaign, United Way is asking our corporate partners to Rally for Recovery. Rally for Recovery is a coordinated week-long (September 28 to October 2, 2020) campaign to energize and inspire participating companies with virtual and in-person engagement, and volunteer and networking opportunities designed to move our community forward.
