Who We Are
Village in the Ville (VitV) is a virtual village created in 2015 through the joint efforts of a group of area residents and The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center to find ways to meet the needs of area residents 50 and older.
We are a part of the Village Movement which began in the late 1990s when neighbors in the Beacon Hill neighborhood in Boston came together to create an organization to help its members “age in place.”
What We Do
Village in the Ville's mission is to find ways of meeting our members’ needs through organized social and educational events, volunteer assistance, referral to service providers, and opportunities for engagement within the Clintonville community.
Our vision is to provide friendship, support, and education to adults age 50 and older to foster a community rooted in lifelong learning and age-friendly beliefs.
