Volunteers keep our farm beautiful by spreading mulch, picking weeds, litter clean-up and more! Volunteers are requested to wear clothes they wouldn't mind getting extra dirty, comfortable shoes (preferably garden or mud boots) , and if you have them, gardening or work gloves.
Tasks will change from shift to shift based off season and need that day.
Please note: Some tasks might require harder labor (digging trenches, lifting more than 20lbs, etc.) Please make staff aware if you have any mobility limitations. You will be working outside, and will get dirty.
If inclement weather impacts your volunteer shift, St. Stephen's Community House will reach out to you the morning of at your requested contact method (call or email). As we approach the winter months, it's important that volunteers dress for the weather: long warm pants, boots, gloves, jackets, etc.
