Alvis’ upcoming Evening of Light fundraising event is this Friday, and we could benefit from additional assistance from set-up volunteers. The event annually provides critical support to our Family and Children’s Program.
The Alvis Family and Children's Program offers parents and children resources and support as they work together to strengthen their relationships and rebuild productive, healthy, self-sufficient lives.
Our pre-event set up shift runs from 1pm-4pm. If you are interested, we would love to have you!

Your particular volunteer assignment would begin at 1pm and ends at 4pm.
- Volunteer check-in will be located just inside the Event Center entrance.
- Unlike our "event" volunteers, you do not need to dress up for this event.
- Please bring your photo ID as this is required for entrance to the casino.
- We will not have a secure room to store your personal belongings. Please plan to leave items in your vehicle that you do not feel comfortable carrying around with you.
- Chips, granola bars, and water will be available for all during this shift!
