Who We Are
FLOW is a grassroot group of volunteers working to protect the Olentangy for future generations. We are composed of 9 volunteer board members and about 2,000 volunteers (in a normal non-pandemic year).
What We Do
FLOW needs volunteers for a wide variety of activities:
- Removing Invasive plants from stream corridors and restoration projects
- Planting native tree seedlings
- Planting native pollinator plants
- Weeding invasive plants from our pollinator areas
- Cleaning up litter from stream areas, high quality natural areas and streets with storm sewers
- Planting Balled and Burlapped Trees at School sites and other restoration areas
- Staking trees to prevent impacts from mowers
- Watering newly planted natives
- Digging up our nursery trees to give to watershed residents
- Web Updates and Facebook Posts- regarding how to have a light watershed footprint
